OUR HISTORY.
We’ve been storytellers for as long as we can remember — first through creative writing and photography, expressing ideas with emotion and imagination. As time went on, we noticed a growing need within our community and circles of influence for creative and entertaining video content. This inspired us to start exploring the world of videography.
One of our earliest major video projects was screened in a packed hall. Watching the audience react — laughing, tearing up, leaning in — as they experienced the story we helped tell, was a powerful moment. It confirmed our belief in video as a deeply moving storytelling medium, and we’ve been hooked ever since.
For more than 15 years, video has been our preferred way of telling stories, though photography — our first love — still plays a vital role in what we do. Over the years, we also expanded into graphic design, adding another creative layer to help clients bring their messages and brands to life visually.
While much of our early work was done on a freelance basis or for a select group of trusted clients, we made a strategic shift in 2023 to focus more intentionally on serving businesses. That’s when Votion Studio was officially established — a creative company built to provide video, photo, and design services, especially for businesses and brands in Polokwane and Limpopo.
Today, our offering includes videography, photography, and design services like logo creation, business stationery, and marketing materials. And while we work with corporate clients across sectors, we continue to serve schools, churches, and wedding couples — communities that have been part of our journey from the beginning, and always will be.

Hi, I’m Christiaan — founder and creative force behind Votion Studio. I serve as the lead designer, videographer, photographer, editor, and strategist. With years of hands-on experience in multimedia production, I’ve built this business with the goal of creating content that not only looks good, but feels meaningful. While I work with a trusted network of freelancers and collaborators as needed, every project carries my personal attention, care, and commitment to excellence.
I don’t just press record — I take the time to understand the purpose behind each story, so that together, we can create visuals that leave a lasting impact.
